Sorry, no pictures of 400 and 1500 metres. You can't take
them when you warm up for, and take part in 1500 metres.
Race started out well, gained a hell of a lot of speed endurance since Uden on June 3, but
hamstring problems came back
after first 300 metres, so I had to slow down a lot. During the race, it was very
much colder then we were used to over the last eight
days, and that is always bad news for
uprotected hamstrings. Right hamstring has bothered me since last (cold) week of May.
Still hope to take advantage in two months or so of the fact that lots of distance
runners stop training
when they stay in some hot place for Summer vacation. Remember that I still
weighted 90 kilograms three months
ago, and more than 20 kilograms less now, on July 7, 2006.
