Recommended bidding sequence:

West North East South
--- 2¨ pass 4©
pass pass pass.

2¨ = Multi-colored, based on weak-2 in spades.
4© = Willing to play 4© opposite weak-2 in any major.

Until recently, we used to reserve 4© to show 4+ support for both majors, for constructive or destructive purpose, but to deny slam interest opposite any weak-2. Rob van Wel convinced us, that we should use 4¨ for this purpose, and use immediate jumps to 4© and 4ª as natural signoffs with 7+ suits.

Recommended bidding sequence:

West North East South
--- --- pass pass
1¨ dbl pass 1©
pass 3© pass pass
pass.

1¨ = Downgrading a little for 3343-pattern.
Dbl = Too strong for an initial overcall of 1NT.
1© = 4+ suit, 0-8 hcp.
3© = 4+ support, 18-19 hcp.

Turns out that EW take 5 tricks. Too bad!

Recommended bidding sequence:

West North East South
--- --- --- 1ª
2¨ dbl pass 2©
pass pass pass.

Dbl = Negative: 4-card ©-suit, 6+ hcp, or just 12+ hcp. This time we have to make a negative double with 5-card ©-suit, but we have no alternative, unless we lower the range of negative free bids to 6-10 hcp.

Recommended bidding sequence:

West North East South
pass 2¨ dbl 2©
pass pass 2NT pass
3§ pass 3¨ pass
3© pass 3ª pass
4ª pass pass pass.

2¨ = Multi-colored, based on weak-2 in hearts. This ©-suit is too bad to open a vulnerable 3© with. The Dutch "supreme court of appeals" has abandoned its stiff point of view, that a weak multi-2¨ on a (bad) 7-card major is to be dealt with as a brown sticker convention.
Dbl = Slightly too strong for an initial overcall of 2NT.
Pass = Weak-2 in hearts, needs alert against weaker amateurs (in The Netherlands: Class 2 and below).
2© = Signoff, obligated unless having a good 6+ ¨-suit. Needs alert.
3§ = Puppet Stayman!
3¨ = In most of other cases: 1 or 2 4-card majors, but now: 4-card ª-suit only. Used to make East declarer, just like ordinary Jacóby transfers.
