Recommended bidding sequence:

West North East South
--- pass 1NT pass
2¨ pass 2ª pass
4ª pass pass pass.

EW will reach 4ª only when East rejects the Jacoby transfer to 2©, by bidding 2ª. If he doesn't, the bidding goes:

West North East South
--- pass 1NT pass
2¨ pass 2© pass
3NT pass pass pass,

since East has no evidence of a 3-card ª-suit in West's hand. East lucks out, because NS have to duck the second round of clubs to maintain communication. That brings East's total to nine.

More analysis to follow.

Recommended bidding sequence:

West North East South
--- --- 2© pass
pass dbl pass 2NT
pass 3NT pass pass
pass.

2© = Muiderberg weak-2: 5-card ©-suit, 4+ of a minor, and 5-10 hcp.
Dbl = North is too strong for an initial overcall of 3¨, the cuebid of 3© is used as Michaels, and 4¨ shows diamonds and spades, the so-called World Convention.
2NT = 3ª is invitational allright, but promises a 5+ suit. South is too strong to respond 2ª, and not strong enough to cue, so he starts with 2NT, balanced with 8-10 hcp, and intends to show his 4-card ª-suit later, if he is forced to bid again.

More analysis to follow.
