1 = East upgrades his hand for his excellent 5-card §-suit.
2 = Texas transfer can only solve this problem, if it shows a 7+ suit.
3 = East has to leave initiative to West. Unlike after Jacoby transfers, there is no room (and need) to 'reject'.
4 = ª-control.
5 = Roman Keycard Blackwood, with © as trumps, of course.
6 = Even number of Aces.
7 = West has promised ©AKxxxxx and void in ª. That virtually guarantees East of 13 tricks, regardlees of West's §-length.

At uncontested auctions, Jacoby transfers can be used to show 5- or 6-card suits, and 2-suited hands. That releases Texas transfers for 7+ suits. When the opponents interfere with the bidding, Texas transfers are often needed to distinguish 5- from 6-card suited hands. Let's please give this theoretical innovation a practical test.

1 = One round force, generally 5-11 hcp.
2 = A 2§-overcall would solve East's rebidding problem, and create problems for NS instead. Remember, South has already passed.
3 = 2© would show a 6+ suit.
4 = 5+ suit, non-forcing. East could have a 4522-hand, not being strong enough to reverse.
5 = No reason to run.

More discussion to follow.
